Yellowstone star Kelsey Asbille lands next lead movie role

Kelsey Asbille, who appeared in Yellowstone, will be in the forthcoming horror film Don’t Move, produced by Sam Raimi of Evil Dead fame.

The Hollywood Reporter says the actress will play alongside Finn Wittrock, known for his roles in American Horror Story and Ratched.

The film, co-directed by Adam Schindler and Brian Netto, centers on a grieving widow who is the target of a serial murderer.

The serial murderer injects her with a paralyzing substance, giving her only a short window to fight back before her body gives out.

Raimi Productions, fresh off the success of Evil Dead Rise, the most recent installment in the horror franchise, is releasing Don’t Move.

Co-produced by Christian Mercuri’s Capstone Studios and Alex Lebovici’s Hammerstone Studios, the latter of which was responsible for the vacation rental horror film Barbarian released last year.

Lebovici stated of the impending film, “The fiercely talented Kelsey and Finn have taken starring turns in some of the most beloved suspense-driven projects currently on the market, making the perfect pair to bring this visceral, pulse-racing story to life.”

Next month, production on Don’t Move will start in Europe.
